Message from the President - October 2019

The cooler days of Autumn are certainly upon us. Nights and mornings are definitely chillier than I’m ready for after a beautiful summer. However, as time moves forward the weather changes are inevitable. Change is part of life and I’m learning more and more every day we need to embrace change, not fear it. There are certain things outside our control that are just going to happen. Yes, it can be frightening, emotional, or even scary, but if we don’t change how do we grow? It’s how we deal with change that makes all the difference in the world. While we don’t always know what exactly the outcome will be or how long it will take to get there, it’s important to take a deep breath and remind yourself it’s going to work itself out. Take care of yourself through change and try to focus on the positives.

Talking about change, the PMP exam is about to undergo a change again. If you are thinking about taking it, now is the time!
