March…many people think of different things when they hear the name of this month: March Madness, St. Patrick’s Day, the arrival of Spring. For me, it’s the anticipation of seeing things come alive again like the trees blooming, a robin landing on my lawn, wildlife once in hibernation suddenly scampering around. It is also the excitement of our Chapter’s upcoming April Annual Symposium. This year we are enhancing the format to provide you with knowledge and skills to put to use real-time and you will earn up to 8 PDUs that day. Stay tuned to our website and upcoming e-mails, as we are very close to announcing the speakers and their topics. In the meantime, registration is open on our website, and the April 29th Symposium will be held at Manhattanville College in Purchase, NY.
In addition to our upcoming Symposium, we have a month full of programs. Executive Coach Uri Galimidi has applied his years of experience working with CEOs, VPs, Directors, and Managers, to create a leadership methodology on three key skills that can propel your career forward in ways unimaginable. This learning session will include real case studies along with interactive audience discussion. Do not miss this Chapter meeting!
Our very own John Sherlock is starting up the next series of PMP Exam Preparation classes at Iona College. These five 7-hour sessions are held on Saturdays starting March 18th through April 22nd (excluding April 15th). There are still spots open so please visit our website to learn how to register.
And finally, our Breakfast Roundtable group will be bringing back a group favorite, discussing a variety of topics in a grab bag session on March 28th. This is a virtual meeting so be sure to visit our website on how to attend this session.
See you at the March 14th chapter meeting at the Royal Palace…
