Win-Win Negotiating Techniques
Negotiating skills are the key to project success, from the dozens of everyday "little" interactions to the "big" negotiating events that are part of every project life-cycle. In this presentation, Lable Braun, PMP, will examine why so many of us are reluctant to enter into negotiations (the maybe-if-I-ignore-it-it'll-go-away syndrome), the conceptual barriers to negotiation (the but-this-has-never-been-negotiable-before syndrome), the various negotiation styles (and how to deal with them), and tips and techniques for ensuring a productive Win-Win Negotiation (the everything-we-think-we-know-may-be-wrong methodology of negotiation). Lable will tie these concepts directly into the challenges we all face daily as Project Managers. |
