With the forming of the BRM Institute in 2013, more corporations are emphasizing business relationship management through BRM roles. How are these new roles impacting project management methodology and where does this role fit in the RACI matrix of project management? A look at how PepsiCo IT is implementing BRM roles.
Crystal has been an Information Technology professional for almost 40 years, spanning 4 companies and both coasts. Her degree is in Data Processing, which is what they called I/T in the 1970’s. Crystal has been part of the PepsiCo family for 18 years. Her I/T focus has been on PMO and Project Management activities over the last 25 years. Training and mentoring have been a constant theme throughout Crystal’s career, from managing teams to providing project methodology mentoring and training for over 300 I/T professionals.
In her community, Crystal is an avid volunteer with her greatest efforts going towards leading and training within the Boy Scouts of America organization.She has two grown sons, both in STEM. One serving as an officer in the Air Force and the other a college student studying Cyber Security.
