Topic:
Importance of Mentoring … Being a mentor and having a mentor
Description:

PepsiCo is a driving force in the STEM education and defining a strategy and roadmap for our country. One of PepsiCo’s top scientist (Heidi Kleinbach‐Sauter) is the author of the STEMconnector 2.0 strategy for the USA. One component of the STEM initiative is Million Women Mentors. Crystal is the PepsiCo National Coordinator.

Enrolling women in STEM is one of the largest opportunities to meet the STEM employment needs for the future. Crystal is currently coordinating PepsiCo mentors for groups of girls and women in High School, college and early career. As part of this role I am developing mentor training presentations and partnering with local High Schools (Mt Vernon HS, JFK HS, Valhalla HS), colleges and the Girl Scouts to pair up students and PepsiCo STEM professionals.
