Project Managers have learned that delivering a technically perfect project does not guarantee that the intended benefits will be realized. The organization must adopt policies and procedures to institutionalize the project into ongoing operations. This is accomplished with the process called Change Management.

Change, at its most basic level, is about moving from a current state, through a transition state to arrive at a new future state. The goal of change is to improve performance in some meaningful way - so that performance levels in the future state are better than they had been in the current state.

PMI Westchester will devote its Professional Development Day on April 2, 2016 to considering the methods and benefits of change and change management. Participate in insightful presentations and discussions led by experts who will address how to integrate Project and Change Management through clarity of responsibility, coordination of activities, tool selection and status reporting.

Earn up to 8 PDUs by attending the PMIW Professional Development Day. Breakfast, lunch, snacks, all conference materials (including books and handouts), and special gifts will be provided.
