Job Title – Project Manager

Job Location – Stamford , CT

Duration – 6 Months

Salary Range - $60 - $70 per hour

Amount of Travel - 10% - 25% (possibly minor to no travel depending on how well the candidate can work remotely).

Description - Provides end-to-end project/portfolio management service including workplans, project scope, project estimates, resources, timing, interdependencies etc. Assess technology opportunities that will impact business strategy and performance as well as research and identify sources of IT advantage and look for internal and external customer opportunities to anticipate and satisfy changing internal and external customer needs.

SECTION II: Education and Other Typical Requirements &n bsp;

Education Level:

Undergraduate Degree (e.g., BA, BS) or equivalent experience

PMI Certification preferred but not required

Experience Level:

2 - 5 Years Experience

SECTION III: Travel Requirements &n bsp;

10% - 25% ( possibly minor to no travel depending on how well the candidate can work remotely )

· Experience in managing very large projects and working in large complex program environments

· Experience working with a Project Management Office

· Strong skills required relative to dynamic project scheduling required; Need the candidate to possess the skill to work with and facilitate Planning sessions for various technology groups. Responsibilities will include creating sound project management plans, execution of those plans, and updating plans dynamically as the needs of the program mature.

· Requires skill and experience of at least 1 year using both MS Project and MS Project Server

· Requires fundamental project/program management skills in creating, analyzing, interpreting and implementing complex project/program management metrics ( both quantitative and qualitative ) such as CPI, SPI, requirements volatility, quality assurance, quality control, etc. to effectively manage the cost, quality, and schedule of several plans.

· Experience working with or implementing integrated program plans or Master plans to Subordinate plans.

· Experience in a full software development lifecycle (from analysis, design, construction, testing and implementation.)

· Experience effectively interacting and communicating with leadership and customers

· Ability to adapt to change; such as scope changes, or customer/program needs.

· Overall project manager coordinating multiple workstreams

· Responsible for project initiation, structure, resource identification, project plan, status reporting, risk identification and mitigation plans.

· Balance resource allocations (e.g. money, people, and/or services) and adjust priorities among multiple milestones and tasks to optimize performance and attain overall objectives

· Work with Global groups to coordinate deliverables/ communications

· Work with various territory IT and business resources to develop deliverables

· Interact with Project User/Steering group during all phases of the project

IT Development Services specific:

Provides regular updates to IT leadership and Business Unit leadership as appropriate

Applies understanding of underlying business process to assess business impact of IT project recommendations and manages overall project success

Manages the ongoing operations of the application to meet established SLA 's and metrics

Participates in user training and 3rd level support when appropriate

Coordinates staff efforts involved in development, quality assurance, and support of product/project

Liaisons with third party vendors to coordinate development, deployment, and ongoing operations as appropriate

Contributes to overall team/project strategy

Provide in-depth analysis and resolutions to technical issues.

Solve technical problems or recommend alternative solutions to team members and leaders.

Deliverables and work products will be of high quality and will meet agreed upon customer requirements
