Job Description
This position will be a part of the
IT PMO team, and be responsible for assisting in the deployment of a new ERP
system. This will include project management, assisting business user
with system analysis, end-user training, and sales report writing.
Primary Responsibilities
* Assist with requirements
gathering, analysis and design
* Learn the new system to become a
subject matter expert for system deployment
* Following a training period, be
able to train the end-users in system use (train-the-trainer)
* Develops system training document
on company-specific processes
* Work with end-users to determine
financial and sales reporting needs
* Coordinate vendor and internal
resources to complete the projects
* Run project status meeting and
track issues/risks
* Write sales and financial system
reports using standard system report writing tools.
* Maintain stake-holders relations
and communications including status reporting
Skills and Requirements
* Must have at least TWO years
experience in the advertising/publishing/media industry
* Must have over FOUR years or
experience with at least one of these with accounting systems:
SAP,
Microsoft GP, Microsoft NAV.
* Knowledge and understanding of
MS-SQL and Oracle databases, Query Language and ODBC
* Experience with reporting tools
such as Crystal Report, Access, or Jet Reports
* Experience doing business/system
analysis with financial systems
* Experience with data
migration/conversion of large ERP systems
* Experience with CRM software in
the B2B and B2C markets
* Ability to convert business
requirement into system specifications
* Understanding of print/digital ad
insertion orders and production flow
* Understanding with Ad Servers and eCommerce integration
* Understanding of core accounting
functions – GL/AR/AP
* Understanding of budgeting,
forecasting, and sales reporting
* Team orientation, interpersonal,
and problem-solving skills
* Strong organizational skills and
attention to details
* Strong verbal/written
communications skills relating to stakeholders at all levels
* Ability to manage project plan and
tasks to timeline
* Ability to drive activities to
completion in a timely manner
* Able to manage relations with
technical resources and end-users
* Fluent using Microsoft Project or
other project management tools
* BA/BS degree in Finance/Accounting
or equivalent experience
* PMI Certification desired
