Position - Business Analyst - Big 4 Tax Technology

 Detailed Description:

Big 4 Firm seeks quality business analyst to work in global mobility services function within Tax Technology Practice.  Role will be client facing providing quality client exposure to many functions with Fortune 1000 clients.

 

Responsibilities:   Primary responsibilities include requirements gathering, documentation, analysis and design participation, test script development, implementation facilitation and maintenance. 

-         Responsible for gathering client information to create clear, concise and complete business and functional requirements for assigned tasks.

-         Assist in interviewing client personnel to gather business process data and requirement

-         Assist in documenting business requirements analysis

-         Assist in development of Use Cases

-         Assist in verification that business requirements/use cases are working in completed product through Quality Assurance process

-         Prepare business and functional requirements documentation from client or internal documentation

-         Actively participate in project phases and report status to Project Manager, including:

            o        Feasibility

            o        Requirements

            o        Development

            o        Quality Assurance

            o        Implementation

            o        Maintenance

-         Participate in client meetings and is responsible for writing meeting minutes

-         Update documentation archive with all relevant project documentation

-         Work with Project Manager, Senior BA, Development team and QA team to facilitate implementation and/or support of project

-         Participate in training and developing training courses for the group

-         Use appropriate standard Global Program Life Cycle (GPLC) process and documentation templates

-         Embrace guidelines for risk management and how they apply to software requirements and completed products

-         Develop an understanding of the Global Mobility Services business and processes and the impact upon the projects

 

 

Qualifications:

-         A degree is preferred or equivalent experience

-         Three plus years experience delivering software applications

-         Demonstrates increased capability with the following: 

            o        Interpersonal skills

            o        Multi-tasking and time management

            o        Prioritization, conflict management, supervisory skills, ownership, pro-activeness

-         Experience and knowledge of the business area for the specific product and services for which he/she is responsible is a plus but not required.

-         Excellent written and oral communications skills mandatory; strong quantitative and analytic skills essential

-         General travel is around 25% potential for foreign travel
