Our Vendor corner was hosted by Mark Meurisse of Palisade Corporation. Mark told us about his firm and the @Risk software product add in to MS Project which performs Monte Carlo simulations. Mark raffled a copy of this package off at the end of the meeting. Our Career corner was hosted by Rajesh Sethi of Datalinx, Tarrytown, N.Y. Ed Mahler then gave a quick over view of the PMI Westchester chapter.

| Speakers: | Gino Magenta, Vice President, and Jeff Levy, Senior Vice President & Director of Healthcare Facilities, Tishman Technologies Corporation. Gino Magenta is the Vice President of Information Technology for Tishman Construction Corporation. He brings to this effort over 17 years of construction supervision experience, all while working with the Tishman team. He procures and administers contracts, facilitates the compliance of trade work with schedule and quality requirements, and coordinates site safety with trades and assisting superintendents in their daily responsibilities. Mr. Magenta is a highly experienced in working with mechanical /electrical trades and communications installations. His current project assignments include Morgan Stanley’s Brooklyn 4 Data Center where he serves as Project Executive on a phased data enter upgrade. He is also working on various Merrill Lynch Projects, managing the installation of communications cable plant infrastructure in live data center environments. Mr. Magenta received as Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Pratt Institute. Jeffrey S. Levy is a Senior Vice President and Project Executive with Tishman Construction Corporation. He possesses over 35 years of construction experience, more than 13 of which have been spent with Tishman. He has extensive experience incorporating fast-track methods for building complicated projects within strict schedules and guidelines, implementing cost-control analysis, and establishing project controls and procurement techniques. His project management experience covers a wide variety of construction specialties including retail, tenant improvements, hotel, office buildings, and health care facilities. His renovation experience encompasses major projects built over, under, through, and alongside occupied areas. These buildings were not shut down during renovations. Mr. Levy received a BFA in Architectural Design from The New School University. |
