Edward B. Farkas, CPM, CHS, MIEEE, PMP
Edward B. Farkas, CHS, MIEEE, PMP has worked as a project and program manager in the public and private sectors. During his career he has managed over $5 billion of aviation, construction, engineering, e-commerce, information technology, homeland security, and telecommunication projects in Argentina, Colombia, China, England, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, and the United States, and has firmly established his reputation as an expert in project management services all over the world.
He is a published author and frequent guest speaker at distinguished educational inst itutions and professional organizations such as the ACFEI, CUNY, IEEE, NYSIA, PMI, SPIN and USMA. He has written articles for IEEE Monitor, PMI Baseline, NewsNet One and PM Network Magazine. As an engineer he holds corrosion control and thermal control patents. As a project management expert we recently published the book The Internet Project Manager: Practitioners Desk Reference which has received five star reviews in the United States and Europe.
Mr. Farkas’ undergraduate degrees are in business administration, engineering and engineering management; he is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Level 1 certified in Homeland Security (CHS) and a certified Lead ISO (Quality Management Systems) Auditor. |
