| Location: | Manhattanville College Cafeteria in Purchase, NY. Directions and Campus information. Attendees must say they are attending the PMI Breakfast Roundtable and Security will indicate where to park and where the cafeteria is located. |

| Fees: | $4.00 for a full "cafeteria style breakfast". Attendees should allow time to get through security and get their breakfast. |

| Description: | Project Managers, even if not directly involved in the decisions of which projects to under take are greatly affected by the outcome of those decisions. Desired outcomes of Project Initiation - project charter, confirmation of the project manager, constraints & assumptions and most likely a preliminary budget. An informal or non existent process for initiation can cause many issues down the road for the PM. Is there a process for project initiation in your area? How does this upstream process positively impact the project and PM and what issues does a PM face when project initiation is ad hoc. |
