base around 100k -110k plus bonus

Overview

Leading investment bank/broker dealer, seeks an experienced professional to join the Sales, Research, and Capital Markets (SRCM) Technology Reference Data team to high-level project manage the overall reference data initiative which includes client, product and people domains. This is a Vice-President level role reporting to the Director of SRCM Reference Data.

Role Responsibilities

As a Reference Data Project Manager, the candidate will liaise with the business, technology teams and other reference data professionals to drive out reference data projects in a skillful and timely manner. Projects will span client hierarchies, product hierarchies, people hierarchies, client contacts and client coverage at a minimum. The candidate will cover the following areas of focus in their daily function to ultimately drive data quality and consolidation:

§         Project manage open items and issues to resolution

§         Create implementation plans and other tracking documentation

§         Develop presentations indicating project summaries, status and timelines

§         Provide frequent communications to business and technology partners regarding project status

§         Maintain the global SRCM reference data roadmap

§         Track metrics highlighting progress across projects and the reference data program as a whole

§         Partner with the Global Markets and Research Technology (GMRT) reference data team to ensure that the SRCM reference data programs strategically align into the enterprise reference data solution

Required Skills

§         Self-motivated; demonstrate the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and effectively engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously

§         Proficient with all standard Microsoft applications including PowerPoint and Access

§         Strong written, verbal and presentation skills

§         5+ years investment banking/broker dealer experience

§         2-3+ years work experience in project management

§         Prior experience managing reference data a plus
