Summary:
Our client is looking
to expand an existing automation effort into new 2 new areas. We seek a
QA Automation Project Manager with deep understanding of testing process,
automation, and test planning from the PM perspective.
Skills Required:
· Must
have proven PM and QA background
· Financial
Industry experience; capital markets or wealth management
· Must
have strong knowledge with test processes, test automation, test planning (from
the PM perspective)
· Able
to facilitate discussions at all levels and manage the project and multiple
work streams
· Experience
with automated testing, QTP
· Automated
Testing Project Implementation experience
· Able
to manage to daily activity but keep eye towards end state
· Scripting,
Script Automation
Description:
· Assess
the current automation inventory
· Identify
the requirements in the new areas and figure out if any of them are already
covered by the existing automation suite
· Develop
an automation plan for the new areas - can the existing tools be used? Of the
new requirements which can be tested with automation and which should remain
manual? Etc.
· Potentially
document test scenarios into Test Cases
· Interface
with off-shore automation experts. (these people will
do the automating, not the consultant)
· Track
progress and oversee automation execution when new releases are deployed
· Report
results
· Interface
with Senior Mgmt
PM Consultant will:
