Join the Westchester Chapter
The Westchester Chapter is a chapter of the Project Management Institute. To join the Westchester Chapter, you must first be a member of the PMI itself. If you are already a PMI member, you can join the Westchester Chapter by either of the methods described below. If you are not yet a member of the PMI, you can also join the PMI itself through either of these methods.
By Phone:
- Call PMI HQ Customer Service at 610-356-4600, option 8, and tell them you want to join the
Westchester Chapter. (If you are not a member of the PMI, you can tell them that you want to join the PMI first.) They will take your credit card payment over the phone.*
Online:
- If you are not yet a member of PMI go to the
PMI Membership page
at PMI.org. Sign up for individual membership.
- To renew your membership go to the
PMI Membership page
at PMI.org and select the individual membership renewal option.*
- To join the Westchester Chapter go to the
list of PMI chapters at PMI.org, click United States,
click New York, then scroll to the Westchester Chapter, and click Join.
* If you are within 90 days of your PMI membership renewal anniversary date, you will need to pay your PMI renewal now and join the chapter at the same time. Both payments will be credited to the future renewal year beginning on your anniversary date, but you will be a Westchester chapter member starting immediately.
This transaction will take up to 2 days to appear on our membership records. If you are attending a chapter function within that 2-day window, bring a copy of your online receipt to receive the entry fee member discount.

Chapter members may borrow from our chapter library of over 50 current best selling project management books ranging in value from $30 to $100, may borrow any PMnet magazine from 1991 to current issues, and may borrow any symposium presentation since 1990.
- Mentoring Program
Only chapter members can be protégés and be mentored, non-members may participate as mentors only.
- Voting privileges for board elections.
- Leadership opportunities.
Chapter members may join the board as officers or program managers, or become committee members. See our
Volunteers page. Chapter leaders receive PDU's.
- Satisfaction of supporting programs the chapter provides.
